Calamity is a trinity of the heart, mind, and body.
The Heart, genuine raw emotion, a nonstop flow that touches and dampens everything. It is blue.
The Mind, internal reasoning and ongoing thought processes, a network directing the flow. It is yellow.
The Body, the physical form, sensation, a sponge that soaks up and squeezes out the liquid. It is pink.
The Mind and Body cannot be utilised alone as they function to direct and organise the intense energy of the Heart.
Mind and Heart: the energy is clean and precise in its movements and direction, but the rate and consistency of the flow is uncontrolled. It is generally green or white.

Calamity can be harnessed effectively through Calamity Breathing, without the use of Calamity Breathing it is basically uncontrollable and will likely kill the user. There are 8 formsthat utilise Calamity and its different aspects, each with a different name and intended function.
First Form: White Space

secondary aspect: heart
separates user and opponent from surrounding noise through movement
a quick singular, but forceful stab to the gut of the user
damage is redirected from the user and onto the opponent
it is a cool white
Second Form:Absolute Rain

secondary aspect: heart
gently directs outward focus and attention towards the user through movement
a quick series of downward strikes to the ground surrounding the user
damage redirected from the ground and onto the opponent
it is a deep cyan
Third Form: Eternal Fractals
primary aspect: body
secondary aspect: heart
notes the user’s injuries and inflicts an equal amount of strain outwards
a relentless series of short jabs to sensitive points of the opponent’s body
followed by a singular forceful strike to the chest of the opponent
this will result in various cuts mainly focused on the previous points
it is an electric purple
Fourth Form: Infinite Decay

draws attention to the user through loud and chaotic movements
an upward slash followed by a stab to the ground between the user and opponent
damage is directed to creep from the ground up to the opponent crippling them
it is a lime green
Fifth Form: Origin Alter

reactionary move waits for damage to the user first
every attack inflicted upon the user is responded to with three consecutive slashes
each slash gradually increases in strength and destructive ability
it is a distressed red
Sixth Form: Unrelenting Frenzy

a chaotic and irregular series of slashes, stabs, chops, and jabs outward
each move grows power and lessens in power at rapid seemingly random intervals

the final strike lands in a stab to the ground between the user and opponent

each wave moves to a different part of the opponent’s body inward from the limbs
it is first pink, then yellow, then blue

total unleashing of power with every movement of both the user and opponent
only slightly less deadly than using Calamity without Calamity Breathing at all
it is an electric blue
1: There will likely be no romantic interests for the main character, but there will be plenty of platonic, brotherly, and familial love. Philia, storge, and agape, no eros.
2:Regarding the characterisation of the main character, I've noticed that a lot of fanfictions of this type tend to have the protagonist as rather extroverted and outspoken. While the mc in this story will have their louder, more chaotic moments, they will be balanced out with a shyer more anxious personality overall. As the story goes on, they will slowly become more comfortable and outspoken with certain characters, but they will still be socially awkward overall. Simply, to lay out the basic character traits of the mc they are going to be neurodivergent coded, introverted, impulsive, stubborn, and socially awkward.
3: If you haven't noticed yet I tend to take heavy inspiration from other things, or just straight uptake when it comes to names.
4: Also, yes this is a reader insert fanfiction and mightbe cringy, but I really wanted to try my hand at writing one since I thought it would be fun.
